Thursday, Spring Sports Night, 6:30pm in the IHS Gym.  Mandatory for all spring players and strongly encouraged for all parents.

Feb 17thIssaquah Press ~ Gref nails second-place diving finish at State!  Boys Diving, Freshman, Robert Gref
Feb 18th: Issaquah Press ~ Multitude of Eagles grapplers compete at the Mat Classic  picture of Mitchell Barnes 
Feb 22nd: Issaquah Press ~ Grizzlies defeat Eagles in regional round Issy finished 2018-2019 season with 11 victories


EAGLE SPORTS 

BOYS’ BASKETBALL   

Issaquah Eagles Boys Varsity Basketball season ended on Friday night in State Regionals bracket play after a 56-49 loss to Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA).  This very close game saw 4 lead changes – tied at half. A 3pt shot at end of 3rd quarter gave GP a lead that Issaquah chased through the 4th quarter.   Glacier Peak moves on to the state tournament in Tacoma.

GIRLS' BASKETBALL 

Monday 2/18, Issy got bumped out of Wes-King, losing to Newport at Home,  41-48.  Wes-King 4A Tournament Bracket

WRESTLING

Regionals was canceled due to snow. Instead the WIAA made the state tournament a 32-person bracket. Fifteen Eagles went to state, but no one placed this year.  Very proud of our wrestlers this year and KingCo Coach of the Year, Coach Hyatt

BOYS’ LACROSSE  

Sunday February 24th at 6pm. Player/Parent Information Meeting (this is the rescheduled meeting) will be held in the Issaquah High School Library. All players and at least one parent should attend.

    • February 25th and 26th.  Varsity and JV Tryouts will be held at 7pm at Issaquah High School. 
    • March 2nd and 3rd. 20% off purchases at Dick's Sporting Goods IssaquahAll are welcomed to the discount. Just tell them at the register you're with Issaquah Lacrosse for the savings.

ROBOTICS  Issy Robotics     

We’ve spent the last six weeks building our competition robot for this year’s game, Deep Space (see https://youtu.be/Mew6G_og-PI for a short game description. We’ve named our robot Space Audity.
